After the certification of the Kamov Ka-32A11BC by the EASA following the FAA, the Portugal in 2007 became one of the largest customers of the Kamov in the EU with 6 helicopters. All they were received by Heliportugal for search-and-rescue and firefighting operations. Helicopters did a huge job while wildfire firefighting recent years. The FSIT supplied the Heliportugal with a data processing of the modern combined flight recorder RPI-2-02 and FDA software together with the simulator, database, electronic logbook and service life monitoring system integrated.
